One of the first questions you'll probably have is: how much is it going to cost?

The answer depends mainly on the length of your script and how the finished voiceover will be used.

How is e-learning priced?

For a professional UK voiceover, you might expect to pay around £200–£400+ per finished minute, depending on the project.

A short 5-minute course might therefore cost a few hundred pounds, while a much larger training course could run into the thousands.

What about usage?

This is important.

An internal training course that's only going to be heard by your employees is very different from a course you're selling commercially to thousands of customers.

Make sure your voiceover artist knows how the recording will be used when asking for a quote.
